Angola presents agricultural potential by region
Angola’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Albino Malungo, appealed to foreign businessmen on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, in Dubai, to invest in the agriculture sector, as it is a segment in which the Angolan government pays greater attention.
The Agricultural Sector Investment Forum 2021 ” promotion by THE ABRAHAMIC BUSINESS CIRCLE, which took place in the economic city of the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) , used the slogan “invest in Angola: a growing region in Africa”.
The head of the Angola Mission in the U.A.E made a characterization of the current context of private investment in the country and its respective legal framework and investment opportunities in general and, in particular, in the agricultural sector in Angola by region. The Ambassador spoke of agricultural potential, especially the production of improved seeds and seedlings, production and processing of meat, cereals and pulses, animal feed and construction of storage and refrigeration infrastructure. Ambassador Albino Malungo said that, in Angola, agricultural equipment is produced and assembled (irrigation systems, implements and seeders).
There is also potential in the sector of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Mari-culture, shipbuilding, and ship repair.
